Linen Wallpaper is custom-made for the measurements you enter. Read these checks before ordering or booking an installer.
Understand the Linen finish
This is a Paste the Wall wallpaper with a fabric backing and an embossed linen-textured face. It is not self-adhesive. The texture can soften very fine printed detail, which is part of its natural woven character.
Prepare your wall correctly
- The wall must be sound, clean, smooth, dry and evenly coloured.
- Fill and sand defects before installation.
- Seal raw plasterboard, drywall, concrete and other porous surfaces, and prime patched areas.
- Allow new paint to cure fully before installation.
Book the right installer
Use an experienced professional wallpaper installer. Tell them in advance that this is a wide-panel, fabric-backed, embossed Paste the Wall product so they can confirm the correct wall preparation, adhesive and installation method for the site.

Only designs approved for this Linen base are offered. Because the product can stretch slightly during production, patterns must flow vertically and cannot contain horizontal lines. A design available on Smooth Matte or Peel & Stick is not automatically suitable for Linen.
Final checks before we print
- Order a Linen sample and check the colour and embossed texture in the room's real light.
- Enter the actual wall width and the tallest wall height. The calculator adds the production allowance.
- Order the whole project together. Later panels will come from a different base-stock batch and may not colour-match.
- Custom wallpaper is non-returnable. Inspect every panel, panel number and print before installation begins.

Linen Wallpaper questions, answered
Why are only some designs available as Linen Wallpaper?
The Linen base can stretch slightly during printing and cutting. Patterns that flow vertically remain visually true, while horizontal lines can show that movement. We therefore approve every Linen design before offering it and exclude patterns with horizontal lines.
How wide are the Linen Wallpaper panels?
Each panel is 70cm wide and the minimum order is two panels, or 140cm of supplied width. Enter your actual wall size. We add 10cm to the wall width, round up to the next whole 70cm panel, and supply that paid rounded width. We also print 10cm above your entered wall height for trimming at no added charge.
Is Linen Wallpaper Peel & Stick?
No. Linen Wallpaper is a Paste the Wall product with a fabric backing and an embossed linen-textured face. Use an experienced wallpaper installer and confirm the correct preparation and adhesive for the site before installation.
Will there be visible seams between the panels?
Every wallpaper installation has panel joins. Linen Wallpaper uses pre-trimmed 70cm butt joins with no overlap. On a smooth, correctly prepared wall, with the first panel perfectly plumb and each numbered panel aligned edge to edge, the joins should become unobtrusive at normal viewing distance. Use a clean, soft seam roller with light pressure only. Hard pressure can squeeze out adhesive or mark the embossed face.
Will my Linen Wallpaper match the sample?
Samples and full orders use the same Linen base and printing process. Minor variation between batches of any colour-based base stock is unavoidable, which is why your complete wall is made as one order from one batch and one print run. Order enough for the whole project because later panels may vary slightly.
What does delivery cost outside Australia?
Full-wall Linen Wallpaper orders ship free worldwide, and we pay the import duties and taxes. The price shown at checkout is the final product price. The sample shipping charge is shown separately when you order the sample.
