Parisian Interiors

I know everyone has a bit of a crush on Scandinavian style... who couldn't love it just a little bit with so many beautiful and iconic pieces, such a rich history in interior decor and design. But me, personally... I'm just in love (as I always have been) with Parisian interiors. I remember walking along the river Seine and looking up at the beautiful buildings that surrounded me, the detailing, the nostalgia that perhaps I had lived there before. Timeless, sophisticated, opulent, black, white, brass... these are the words that come to mind when I think Parisian decor.

 

I wanted to share with you my all time favourite Parisian home. The epitome of 'casual cool' is in the home of Dorothée Boissier and Patrick Gilles - seamlessly blending 19th-century architectural with 21st-century furnishings. The beauty of these parquet floors is beyond words and the understated elegance of simply leaning their art collection is a key to knowing how to play it cool with decor.
