What You Can Test With a $4.99 Sample
Colour accuracy: Screen calibration varies. What looks warm beige on your laptop may appear cooler grey in your space. Hold the sample against your wall in different lighting conditions — morning light, afternoon sun, artificial evening light. The colour you see in person is the colour you'll get.
Print quality: Our samples are printed on the same equipment as full orders at our two production facilities north of Sydney. Run your fingers across the surface. Check the detail in the design. The sample represents exactly what your finished wallpaper will look like.
Adhesion (peel and stick): Press your sample to your actual wall. Leave it for 24–48 hours. Check that it adheres without lifting at edges. If your wall is textured and adhesion is reduced, try the Roman PRO-977 primer method before ordering the full installation.
Material and texture: Feel the weight and surface of the substrate. Our wallpaper is robust — it should feel substantial, not flimsy. The texture of the surface affects how the finished wall reads in your space.

Step 2: Order your sample. Go to oliveetoriel.com/products/wallpaper-samples and select the design and format you want to test. Add to cart, checkout. No custom dimensions needed for samples — we send a standard test piece.
Step 3: Test in your space. When your sample arrives, hold it against your wall, check the colour in different light conditions, test adhesion if it's peel and stick, and make your final decision with confidence.
Step 4: Order your custom wallpaper. Once you're confident in your design choice, place your full order. Enter your exact wall dimensions — width and height — and we'll manufacture your custom sized wallpaper at facilities. Manufacturing takes approximately 4 days, then we dispatch.
