Every Olive et Oriel art print is designed, printed and framed in Australia using archival-grade papers, fade-resistant inks and solid timber frames. Three finishes, one build
Every frame is solid timber all the way through, cut and joined by our own framers on the Central Coast of NSW. Choose a solid timber frame with oak, white or black finish: the white and black are a hand-applied 2mm gesso coat, the oak is a pale blonde veneer with fine straight grain. No MDF anywhere in the construction, so nothing sags or swells with humidity over time.

Cut one of our frames in half and this is what you find. Every layer is chosen for one job: keeping your artwork flat, true and vivid for decades.
Crystal-Clear Acrylic Glazing
Gallery-grade acrylic glazing with glass-like clarity, matched to the size of the piece and up to 4mm thick on our largest sizes to ensure longevity and durability in Australian weather. Lighter and far safer than glass. We never coat it in non-reflective film, which dulls the colour and vibrancy of your artwork.
230gsm Archival Fine Art Paper
FSC-Certified, 230gsm uncoated premium fine art paper with a matte, reflection-free surface. Printed with 12-colour pigment giclée inks, the museum standard, made to hold their colour for decades, even in bright Australian rooms. Backed by our lifetime guarantee on age resistance.
Professional-Grade Foam Board Mount
Your print is bonded with acid-free archival adhesive to professional-grade 5mm mould-resistant foam board, the standard used by conservation framers, so the artwork sits perfectly flat and never ripples, bubbles or pulls away from the glazing. No MDF.
Solid Timber, Hand Finished
Sustainably sourced, FSC certified solid timber, hand-made by our own framing professionals. Finished in 2mm white or black gesso or wrapped in pale oak veneer.
Taped, Finished Back
The back is sealed with framing tape and fitted with hanging hardware before it leaves us. On sizes above 70x100cm we build in a structural back support system so the frame never warps over time. Turn one of our frames over and it looks as considered as the front.
Made For Your Order
Printed and framed at our own Central Coast manufacturing facilities after you order. Your piece is made for you, not pulled off a shelf, and it arrives ready to hang.
Styling choices
With or Without a White Border
Most of our art prints are available with or without a white border. A border adds a clean gallery-style breathing space around the artwork; without one, the art runs to the edge of the frame. Same artwork, two looks.

Size Guide
From A4 to statement 100x130cm pieces. The chart shows unframed print sizes through to fully framed sizes and weights. Frame profile depth is 3cm on all sizes 70x100cm and smaller, and 4cm on 100x130cm frames.

Your framed wall art arrives ready to hang, affixed with a hanging system matched to the weight of your frame to ensure a long life on your walls. In 2021 we reduced our plastics use by 90%. No excessive plastic coverings or bubble wrap, and our packaging is as recyclable as we can make it while still protecting your order.
Eco-Friendly Inks
All our inks are eco-friendly. Our wallpaper ink is No VOC and our wallpapers are PVC-free.
