Olive et Oriel framed artworks feature professional framing acrylic (not glass / perspex), despite being more expensive than glass, we’ve chosen to frame with acrylic as it offers crystal clear protection of your art and ensures a shatterproof transit to your home. Acrylic is a reflective surface, however not as reflective as perspex or glass.

Back of your Olive et Oriel frame

The back of your frame showcases the white foam core board your artwork sits against.Foam core board or commonly known as mountboard is the preferred backing for professional framers.This foam core board keeps your artwork protected from mould and warping, it also assists in keeping the frame lightweight. 

Hanging your Olive et Oriel frame

Your new framed artwork will arrive to your home ready to hang. Affixed with a special hanging system to support the weight of your frame to ensure a long life on your walls.

Unframed Art Prints

An 'Unframed art print' is commonly called a poster. It is professionally printed utilising soft matte finish fine art paper.

White Borders

Olive et Oriel offers a white border option on most artworks, these borders are not always the same size, please thoroughly review your art purchase before ordering. If your require custom size borders, please contact Customer Care.

Will choosing a white border make the design/photograph smaller?
YES. It will make your chosen artwork smaller to accommodate an unprinted white area around your chosen design - no part of the artwork will be cropped out. 

Is the white border made of cardboard?
NO. It is an unprinted area surrounding your chosen design. It is part of the poster.

Returns

30 Day Change of Mind 

We want to make sure your art is perfect for your home! If you change your mind, have ordered an incorrect size or require any colour alterations to better suit your space - you can return the art to us within 30 days for a store credit or exchange.  

The returned product must be unused, in its original condition, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new.

The purchaser will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this policy unless a prior agreement is reached.


Exclusions:

Returns & exchanges are strictly only available on full-priced framed art, framed canvas, unframed art prints & posters (excludes any and all sale, promotional offers, VIP trade pricing or bulk discounted and bundle offers). Due to the custom made nature of wallpaper products there are no returns, refunds or exchanges, all sales are final on wallpaper and wall mural products.

Returns procedure

In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must initially inform us of your intention to return or exchange. Please email help@oliveetoriel.com to organise this.

Any product returned to the wrong address will be considered not received and no store credit will be granted.

Olive et Oriel are not responsible for lost packages or items that are damaged in return shipping, we strongly suggest you pack all items carefully and track all items when posting.

Please include full name and order number to avoid any delays in processing your return.

Replacements

In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged in any way, we will replace it. Please contact us within 7 days to organise your replacement.
